The library media center has been a hub of research activity as term 4 projects and papers are well underway.  Some highlights of ongoing projects are the World's Fair country research by the grade 7 geography students. Students have become experts on a particular country and will have the opportunity to share this knowledge on June 10 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the MMHS library.  AP Human Geography students are creating documentaries. Grade 8 World History students are creating postcards to reflect their Washington DC travel experience. Grade 10 English students are writing argument papers based on research from the Opposing Viewpoints in Context database.  In this project students are applying skills in MLA citation, research using multimedia sources from a database and Google Classroom for real time feedback from teacher and peers.  Way to go MMHS on making term 4 a valuable learning time!
